Mikhail Popov the Deputy Secretary of Russia’s Security Council has warned there could be an “accidental” nuclear war due to the US President’s mental health, warning “we are not far from a global catastrophe.”

Last week Special Counsel Robert Hur said that President Biden is an “elderly man with a poor memory” who talks gibberish.

Giving a talk last week Biden, 81, struggled to give a major speech, he said, “There is some movement…and I don’t wanna…I don’t wanna.”

Biden awkwardly continued, “Choose my words…there’s some movement. There’s been a response…from the uh…there’s been a response from the opposition.

“But – yes I’m sorry – from Hamas but it seems to be a little over the top. We’re not sure where it is…there’s continuing negotiation right now.”

Sky News’ US Correspondent Mark Stone wrote on X, “This, from President Biden, tells us something about how the negotiations between Israel and Hamas are going.

“It also, frankly, shows why so many in America and beyond are concerned about the age of the American president who is insisting on running again.”

The Deputy Secretary of Russia’s Security Council told Russian newspaper Izvestia that there are concerns in Moscow over Biden’s health.

Popov said that the “deterioration of Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities” including the US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin also has health issues as he was in hospital for symptoms of an “emergent bladder” problem.

Popov made reference to Hur’s report which claims that President Biden has a “fuzzy” and faulty” memory and has “limitations.”

He added, “The conversation is not about a banana republic, but about a state that has nuclear weapons and constantly claims to be the world hegemon.”

The newspaper asked Popov over the risk of nuclear war accidentally being started, he said, “[Biden] is the only person who can give the order to use nuclear weapons.

“In the difficult and nervous internal political situation that has developed recently in the United States, the cost of management mistakes, consciously or involuntarily made by the country’s leaders, has increased significantly.

“And we are not far from a global catastrophe.”
