The Ukrainian intelligence chief has said that Russia has been stock piling Kalibr cruise missiles for some time and Vladimir Putin will use them to attack Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Defence Intelligence (HUR) chief, Kyrylo Budanov said on Sunday that the Kalibr cruise missiles are “absolutely ready for use.”
Russia have so far chosen to use the Kh-101 missiles instead as the are “more effective” than the Kalibr missiles.
The Black Sea Fleet have been building up the Kalibr missiles and the Russian air force are using Kh-101 missiles.

Budanov said, “In the near future, I think we will see Kalibr again, because the number of Kh-101s has decreased significantly.
“There are regulations, documents, decisions. The enemy had to replenish the stock of missiles, because by that time it had decreased significantly.
“They have completed this task. So now they are technically ready to use them.”
In Kyiv Oblast around 2,000 kilometres with almost 10,000 “dragon’s teeth” which are giant concrete pyramid blocks are being installed to fortify the region against a land attack, according to Ruslan Kravchenko.
The 2,000 kilometres of fortifications includes extensive anti-tank ditches, non-explosive barriers a sophisticated system of trenches and dugouts to protect the capital of Ukraine.
Kravchenko said, “Almost 10,000 concrete pyramids have already been installed, and an anti-tank ditch has been arranged.”
He said, “Under strict control” the construction is taking place and the Kyiv Oblast authorities are keeping the military informed to build “the most effective structures with the most reliable protection.”
The Kyiv Oblast governor added, “There is only one requirement: quality, meeting deadlines and efficient use of funds.”
President Volodymyr Zelensky has also warned that Ukrainian forces will be forced to “retreat, step by step,” is the US continues to fail to provide urgent military aid.
Zelensky warned that “if Ukraine falls, Putin will divide the world” and his is urging American politicians to stop their “bickering” in Washington as ATACMS “is the answer.”
During an interview with the Washington Post Zelensky said, “If you are not taking steps forward to prepare another counteroffensive, Russia will take them.
“That’s what we learned in this war. If you don’t do it, Russia will do it.”
The Ukrainian leader added that after the fall of Avdiivka “we have stabilised the situation because of smart steps by our military.”
But he warned, “If there is no U.S. support, it means that we have no air defense, no Patriot missiles, no jammers for electronic warfare, no 155mm artillery rounds.
“It means we will go back, retreat, step by step, in small steps.”
