Local estate agent network Open House has signed a two-year software contract with proptech platform Alto, part of the Houseful stable.

The partnership with Alto builds on Open House’s existing long-term relationship with Houseful, having been a Zoopla customer for over 10 years.

All of Open Houses’ 100-plus agents, and any additional agents added to its network during the contract, will have access to Alto, along with Alto Learning Hub and help centre.

Open House agents will be able to use Alto’s latest range of features and functionality, including AI-powered property descriptions and AI summaries for listings content.

From a system admin perspective, they will also benefit from the ability to see the entirety of the Open House’s network of properties rather than having to log in and out of different accounts.

Alex Morrison, managing director at Open House estate agents, said: “We’ve had a great experience joining Alto. Their support team has been fantastic, with nothing being too much trouble for the trainers and tech support.

“Another big benefit is the ease of creating contacts from an enquiry, rather than having to input the contact details manually each time.”

Commenting on the news, Ric Dawson, chief operating officer of Software at Houseful said: “We’re very pleased to expand our relationship with Open House by welcoming them to the Alto family.

“Open House has big ambitions for the next year and ensuring their agents are working as efficiently as possible will be crucial to this, with Alto playing a key part.”
