LonRes has announced that its subscribers can now enhance their property listings by uploading video or property reels directly onto the LonRes system – via desktop or mobile app.

Video reels are increasingly being used by estate agents as a means of engaging with the market. Frequently employed across social channels, they are now an essential part of a company’s marketing mix.

A property reel loaded onto the LonRes, the business-to-business prime London trading platform, can form part of a full traditional listing or standalone as a property listing in its own right.  This means that unlike the posting of a reel on a social channel it is fully searchable and remains with the listing until the selling agent takes it down.  The system is simple to use and all reels can be added and edited directly by the estate agent.

Anthony Payne, managing director of LonRes said: “Property marketing continues to evolve, and today video reels play an increasingly important role in the promotion of a property. These short video tours, which are shared across social media platforms, aim to engage viewers with properties, the selling agent and the company for which they work.

“Recognising this, LonRes subscribers can now upload property reels onto the LonRes platform, where they can also edit and change a reel’s visibility.  Importantly, the reel itself is fully searchable – which is not the case on social media channels – and as such can stand-alone as a property listing in its own right.

“The selling agent can choose how much information they want to share on their reel.  A property being sold off-market, for example, may be a short discrete video reel, whereas other properties may be wide-reaching in both their presentation style and content.

“As you would expect from LonRes, the functionality has been designed to be intuitive and easy to use.  But most importantly the addition of video reels means that property professionals can market properties, themselves – as a brand – or the company they work for, in whatever form they choose.”
