Fine & Country has announced its latest international license in the Caribbean with the launch of Fine & Country Barbados and St. Lucia.

This latest license adds yet another international destination to the estate agency brand’s portfolio and further expands its presence in key luxury property markets worldwide.

Led by directors Alex Leach and Angad Singh, Fine & Country Barbados also covering the region of St Lucia features a dedicated team of six, including four sales professionals and two administrative staff, and is primed to serve the high-end property markets across these Caribbean islands.

Reflecting on the property market in the region, Singh said: “The market in Barbados remains buoyant, with prices generally increasing by about 10% annually. There is a strong demand for quality properties, and Fine & Country’s clientele aligns well with the high-end market here.”

When asked about the types of properties in the area, Alex highlighted the range of options available, saying: “We have everything from condos starting at $200,000 to luxury villas reaching up to $45m, largely depending on location and proximity to the beach. This variety allows us to cater to a diverse buyer base, particularly those seeking either lifestyle or investment properties in paradise.”

He added: “Our goal with Fine & Country is to leverage its global reputation to further enhance interest in the Barbadian and St. Lucian property markets. We have been very successful under our existing brand, but we recognised the opportunity to expand our reach internationally by partnering with a respected brand like Fine & Country.”

Emilie Despois, chief marketing officer at Fine & Country, commented: “Alex and Angad and their team bring invaluable expertise and a strong commitment to excellence, which align perfectly with our brand values. This expansion not only strengthens our presence overseas but also provides our clients with exciting opportunities to own property in these prestigious locations. We look forward to supporting the team’s growth and success in Barbados and St. Lucia.”
