Your Move franchise holder Chris Stonock who has 13 branches in the North East of England has completed the acquisition of Hymers and Ryle Residential.

Hymers and Ryle Residential, located in Ryton, near Newcastle, has a lettings portfolio of 170 properties. The agency became available to buy after the head of the firm, Julie Ryle, announced plans to retire.

Kerry Hymers will continue as lettings manager. But she will move to the office in Low Fell, as the the Ryton office will close.

Hymers said: “With Julie’s retirement plans approaching, we carefully decided next steps for the business together. We chose Your Move due to its strong reputation and guaranteed ability to maintain the high service standards our landlords and tenants are accustomed to, with zero rent arrears reported across our portfolio.

“This acquisition means our clients will benefit from the resources of a larger group, while still receiving the same personal service as I continue on as the main point of contact with support from Your Move’s Property Management Centre.”

Your Move local franchise holder managing director Tim Stonock, added: “Julie and Kerry have built a business known for its outstanding service, and we’re delighted to be entrusted with maintaining this reputation as we welcome a significant number of managed units into Your Move, further strengthening our lettings division.

“Our priority is delivering consistency – maintaining the same high standards to ensure landlords and tenants continue to receive excellent service under Kerry’s guidance.

“This acquisition marks a key milestone in our growth strategy through the North East, as we look to both organic expansion and acquiring high-quality letting portfolios like Hymers and Ryle Residential.”
