eXp UK has announced the launch of a new commercial property division, expanding its self-employed agency model beyond residential sales.

The new division will cover office, retail, industrial, land, and mixed-use sectors, offering agents access to sector-specific training, resources, and operational support.

Commercial agents working with eXp UK will operate under the company’s commission structure, retaining 70% of the commission earned, with the potential to increase to 100% based on performance.

The division will be led by Rob Jones, Head of eXp UK Commercial. Jones brings extensive experience in commercial real estate, having held senior leadership roles across national and international businesses. H

The commercial launch marks an extension of eXp UK’s existing model, aiming to offer agents greater flexibility while operating under the umbrella of a global network.

Jones commented: “We are giving ambitious and driven commercial real estate agents the opportunity to build their own business as part of eXp Commercial here in the UK as well as joining an international business.

“I have worked in this part of the sector, as well as lectured on the subject, and this is a unique opportunity to combine my entrepreneurial spirit with my passion for commercial property and bring a truly disruptive commercial offering to the UK market.

“The business we are building has to be seen to be believed. It isn’t just industry leading tools, technology, marketing, training and support – it’s industry defining.”

Adam Day, head of eXp UK and Europe, added: “The launch of commercial offering is a landmark moment, not just for our business but for the wider industry. For the first time, agents will have the chance to operate across both the residential and commercial property sectors under a single, comprehensive platform, giving them true flexibility to meet client needs across the market.

“The commercial property sector has grown substantially in the last decade, but the traditional agency model has left many agents unable to fully benefit from this momentum.

“At eXp UK, we’re changing that by enabling commercial agents to take control of their business, maximise their earnings, and access the same cutting-edge support, training, and technology that has already transformed the residential sector. What’s more, our global community will allow them to fully maximise interest in UK commercial property on a global scale, not just a domestic one.”
