LRG has boosted its East Midlands footprint with the acquisition of Residential Property Group Ltd, trading as Osprey Property, adding offices in Oakham, Stamford, Oundle and Melton Mowbray.

The deal pushes LRG into three market towns where it previously had little presence, marking a major move in the group’s ongoing expansion drive.

Founded in 2005 by James Turcan and Robert Brown, Osprey Property is an independent, family-run sales and lettings agency.

The business will continue to trade under the Osprey name, with all staff retained. Managing director Graham Freeman will remain in post and returns to LRG, having previously spent five years with the group.

Matthew Light, group mergers and acquisitions director at LRG, commented: “This is another significant acquisition and a strong step in our strategy to work with multi-branch regional agencies.

“We are delighted to expand our footprint into three new towns where we already have a growing presence. This follows the recent purchase of the Northern Estate Agencies Group and reflects the strong momentum behind our expansion plans.

“We are actively working on several strategic opportunities across the property sector and building an exciting pipeline for 2026.”

“Joining LRG is an exciting step for Osprey,” added Graham Freeman. “We have built a loyal customer base and strong local teams, and being part of a larger group will allow us to continue delivering the personal service we are known for, with the added benefit of national support and investment. I am looking forward to working with the LRG team again and to the opportunities this partnership will bring.”
