Lando Norris will be looking over his shoulder this weekend in Doha after the disaster of Las Vegas.

The McLaren driver is close to sealing his first F1 title, as he holds a 24-point lead over Oscar Piastri and reigning champion Max Verstappen, but he and his team-mate’s disqualification last week, after finishing second and fourth, has given the Dutchman hope of a fifth straight crown.

But race strategy will be harder given the two mandatory pit stops. Can Norris see out victory or will Verstappen, who has won the last two races in Doha, take it to the final round?

When is the Qatar Grand Prix?

The Lusail International Circuit will host the race.

Qatar Grand Prix start time

The first two practice sessions took place on Friday, November 28, with FP1 at 1.30pm GMT and qualifying for the sprint race at 5.30pm GMT.

The sprint race took place at 2pm GMT on Saturday, November 29, with qualifying for the GP at 6pm.

Lights out at the grand prix is scheduled for 4pm UK time on Sunday, November 30.

How to watch the Qatar Grand Prix

TV channel: Every session from the Qatar Grand Prix is available to watch live in the UK on Sky Sports’ dedicated F1 channel. Coverage of the grand prix on Sunday begins from 4pm UK time.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also watch the Brazilian Grand Prix live online via the Sky Go app. It is also available to stream via NOW.

Free highlights: Channel 4 will show free-to-air highlights of the race at 9pm GMT on Sunday.

Qatar Grand Prix weather forecast

It will come as no surprise that there is a minimal chance of rain in Doha this weekend.

Temperates across Qatar will be between 25-30C across all three days of racing.
