As letting agents approach the end of the financial year, One Utility Bill has extended its enhanced commission rate for Notify, its utility registration and management service for letting agents.

The service will continue to pay agents up to £17.50 per completed let until 31 March 2026, continuing the increased rate first introduced in 2024.

Notify handles tenant utility registration during the move-in process. The service does not charge agencies any setup or subscription fees, and commission is generated through tenant engagement at move-in.

For agencies completing around 20 lets a month, the extended rate could amount to more than £1,000 in commission before the end of March.

The service also automates the utility registration process, reducing the administrative workload for agency teams by handling supplier communications, follow-ups, and tenant queries. One Utility Bill estimates this could save agents up to 53 hours of administration each month.

“This extension is our way of saying thank you,” said One Utility Bill’s Shay Jones, director of growth and sales.

“Thank you for trusting Notify, for giving us the opportunity to support your tenants, and for helping us shape a platform that genuinely works for letting agents.”
