GM just made it even easier for Chevy, GMC, and Cadillac EV drivers to find and use Electrify America charging stations.
GM unlocks Electrify America EV charging in the app
For those who use public charging stations regularly, you know how critical Plug and Charge is. With the ability to find, navigate to, and pay for the charging session all in one, it’s even easier than filling up at a gas station.
GM announced it has integrated Electrify America’s charging network directly into its app, unlocking the same benefits for Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac EV drivers.
You can now find, charge, and pay at one of the over 5,000 Electrify America fast charge stations, including hyper-fast 350 kW chargers.
Electrify America is now built into GM’s myBrand app. You can find available stations under the Public Charging Space page in the myBrand app.
From there, you can navigate to the station, initiate the session, and pay for it directly in the app, eliminating the need for multiple apps or credit cards.
The new feature is part of GM’s broader plans to expand charging infrastructure, while getting you back on the road as quickly as possible. GM said that Chevy, GMC, and Cadillac EV drivers now have access to more than 250,000 public charging stations across the US.
As more EV drivers hit the road, expanding public charging options will be key. Meanwhile, features like Plug and Charge make EV charging even easier than filling up a gas tank.

Outside of Tesla, GM sold more EVs in the US than any other automaker, thanks to the Chevy Equinox EV and Cadillac’s growing electric SUV lineup.
With the new 2027 Chevy Bolt EV on its way to dealers, we should start seeing them on the road in the next few months. GM claims the new Bolt offers “the most range in an EV under $30,000,” but it will be a limited-run model with production likely ending in 2027.
