Zoomlion Opens 2026 With US$1.2 Billion in Global Equipment Shipments

Chinese manufacturing and equipment firm Zoomlion looks set for a breakout year – the company has shipped some 15,000 units with a combined value of approximately 8.5 billion yuan (~1.2B), and we’re barely into March (!).

Launched in 1992, the Chinese brand’s broad-ranging portfolio has grown to include everything from humanoid factory robots on up to the world’s largest-capacity 4,000 ton all-terrain crane (shown, above). But, while Zoomlion has already established itself a major player in its home market, it’s still relatively unknown in the West. With a significant portion of its 2026 equipment sales bound for 23 countries, however, that seems set to change.

The list of export markets about to receive Zoomlion machines includes Germany, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In the earthmoving and mining segment, Zoomlion’s integrated fleet solution (featuring high-performance hundred-ton-class mining excavators paired with battery-electric mining trucks) was a key component of the overall delivery volume. Over 3,700 units of earthmoving and mining machinery, valued at around 2.3 billion yuan (approx. US$335 million), were shipped from the Zoomlion Smart Industrial City Earthmoving Machinery Park, as well as facilities in Weinan and Quantang.

ZOOMLION PRESS RELEASE

The company made headlines earlier this year when it announced that it was already using an army of humanoid manufacturing robots to power its “third growth curve” at Zoomlion Smart City, where the ‘bots are churning out a new battery electric excavator every six (6) minutes.

In addition to Zoomilon Zmart City, the company operates a Changde Tower Crane Smart Factory and a Jiangyin production facility, where flagship and high-demand models supplied to global customers are built. This year, the company plans to ship orders to more than 40 countries, including Italy, Hungary, Australia, Singapore, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Tanzania, and the US.

The company credits AI integration into its manufacturing, management, and construction plans, as well as the robots themselves, for their incredible speed.

While we’re on the topic, Zoomlion says its ZTC250N-EV mobile crane quipped with unmanned path management autonomous driving and operation, can charge from 10-80% charge in under an hour, and 230 km (~140 miles) of range. “Keeping dynamic power in performance,” reads the official copy, “the ZTC250N-EV is far more economical and environmentally friendly than regular truck cranes currently on the market.”
