LIS Media, owner of the National Landlord Investment Show and a range of property media brands, has acquired Propertychecklists.co.uk from Kate Faulkner’s company, Designs on Property Ltd.

As part of the acquisition, Faulkner joins the LIS Media team as a property market analyst, contributing across all its subdivisions and media channels, including the National Landlord Investment Show, Landlord Investor Magazine, the LIS Community Hub, Property Notify, UK Property News, and the National LIS Awards.

Faulkner will continue to run her property communications consultancy and retain her existing clients at Designs on Property Ltd.

Steve and Tracey Hanbury, founders of LIS Media, said in a joint statement: “We have worked with Kate ever since we started doing shows for landlords in Croydon in 2013, and are absolutely delighted to welcome her to our team.

“Having a property expert like Kate on board means we can continue to provide excellent, free education about the property market to our community of landlords, investors and developers.

“Connecting our community with the experts and expert content from PropertyChecklists.co.uk is at the core of what we do across all our platforms, in-person and digitally.”

Faulkner explained her decision to sell Propertychecklist: “Working closely with the fantastic LIS team means I can focus on what I do best: analysing, explaining and presenting property market data. Their expertise in producing, designing and delivering content from shows to digital media channels means I no longer have to manage all the work behind the scenes. It allows the research to be presented professionally and reach a far wider audience than I could achieve on my own.”
