The firm said the newly merged teams will develop an enhanced, data-enabled and market-focused commercial real estate offering, supporting the firm’s wider ambitions across key sectors including public sector work, London offices and national industrial portfolios.
Under the new structure, Sambridge and Buckley will oversee all commercial sector activities including agency, investment, lease advisory, valuation, business rates, projects and building consultancy, commercial management and occupier services.
The teams will operate across the country, with offices in London, Reading, Oxford, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow.
Sambridge has led Cluttons’ work in helping clients use data to manage their property portfolios effectively. His experience advising organisations on their long-term asset strategies will underpin a more holistic commercial offering.
Meanwhile, Buckley is a specialist in business rates with extensive experience in advising major companies and public sector bodies. He has a strong track record of building advisory teams and helping clients navigate property tax and valuation challenges, which the firm said will broaden the company’s capabilities for larger, multi-site clients.
Cluttons chief executive John Gravett said: “With Mark and Gareth working together, we have the leadership strength to accelerate the development of our commercial sector offering. Their combined approach will sharpen our market presence, enhance delivery and help realise our short, medium and long term ambitions.”
Sambridge added: “We are bringing the commercial sector teams together under one strategy to create more impact for clients and deliver a truly integrated service model across the lifecycle.”
