A magnitude 7 earthquake has hit Indonesia some 96 kilometers north of Tuban, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Tuban is a town located on the northeast coast of Java. Sebastian Paz, a Colombian tourist visiting Bali, told MarketWatch by email that the quake caused shaking across the island and that he received a 5.4 alert from My EarthQuake Alerts. So far, no tsunami warning has been issued.
