Property data specialists Sprift have today released more details about their industry-wide initiative to provide ‘the soundtrack to the property industry’.

The Sprift Soundcast, launched in February this year, features professional DJ’s and musicians who work for Sprift, including founder and CEO Matt Gilpin, head of surveyor technology Jamie Craddock, business development manager Alex Somers and board advisor, Louisa Fletcher. Earlier this month, Michael Booth from Coadjute also featured as a guest DJ.

Every Friday afternoon, a new 60-minute session is released, hosted on Soundcloud, which can be streamed via mobile or desktop.

Explaining the idea behind the project, Sprift CEO Matt Gilpin commented: “The property industry is full of driven and ambitious people and we know that nothing uplifts and motivates us all quite the way that music does; be it the tune that pumps you up for the gym, the playlist you select for focusing on work, what you listen to when you’re chilling out away from the office or that one track that gets you in the mood for a great night out.

“At Sprift, we’re very fortunate to have several ex-professional DJs in our ranks, along with some incredibly talented musicians. My own experience is that I DJ’d professionally in my twenties, gracing the ‘wheels of steel’ at many UK nightclubs and events and further afield in Ibiza, Japan, and the USA.”

He continued: “Alex, Jamie and I had been sharing various mixes with each other via Slack, which got us thinking, why not share the DJ expertise from the Sprift team and release weekly sessions to power-up our industry and beyond? With the talent we have in the business, we thought that it could be a great way to create a wide range of mixes from a variety of musical genres to form a series of soundtracks that everyone can tap in to, then open up the project to anyone else in the industry who wants to team up with us.  And right there, the Sprift Soundcast was born.”

The Sprift Soundcast is released weekly on a Friday afternoon, with the hour-long sessions accessible via Soundcloud available on the Sprift website: https://sprift.com/soundcast/
