Investors in People is to host its latest series of celebration events in London this June, with businesses from across the South set to be recognised for their dedication to achieving high-level organisational successes by investing in their people.

With over 450 from organisations from the South, including British Airways, Great Western Railway, South Western Railway, Surrey County Cricket Club and The Gym Group all obtaining Investors in People accreditations throughout the last year alone, IIP has been an ever-present in London and the wider region throughout the last three decades.

Being held at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London on June 28, the event will not only focus on Southern organisations that have achieved accreditations or joined the IIP community; but will also give previous success stories a chance to discuss their own business transformation, with a variety of speakers including Victoria Goodacre, CHRO at London Bridge Hospital and Danielle Massey, Talent Manager at BAM Nuttall set to guest speak on the day.

Paul Devoy, CEO, Investors in People, said, “Our celebration events present fantastic opportunities for our members of our community to come together to celebrate the success of organisations in our community, share best practice and learn from experts in the field of people development.

“I am looking forward to shining a spotlight on the brilliant work that is currently taking place in this region across all sectors, and as we continue to engage with customers and stakeholders alike, I have no doubt that the South, its businesses and its employers will continue to lead the way in high performance.”

With Investors in People’s Platinum accreditation the highest accolade that can be achieved against IIP’s standards and currently held by only 1% of accredited organisations globally, it is also credit to the current thriving business scene in the South, that 23 businesses have recently been given the Platinum standard.

These Platinum accredited businesses include the LETTA Trust, Armorgard, Tate Recruitment, ARV Solutions, Redbridge Community School and JCW Group.

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support, and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results.

Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
