Google has started discussions with Indian suppliers about assembling its Pixel phones to extend its manufacturing beyond China, according to a Bloomberg report on Tuesday. Google has talked with Lava International, Dixon Technologies India and Foxconn Technology Group’s Indian unit Bharat FIH, the report said, citing people with knowledge of the matter. Apple Inc.
