Nikola stock drops, as EV maker suspects ‘foul play’ led to fire involving multiple trucks

tumbled 10.1% in morning trading Friday, after the electric vehicle maker confirmed that a fire occurred involving multiple battery electric trucks, and that it suspected “foul play.” The company said no one was injured in the fire. “Foul play is suspected as a vehicle was seen in the area of the affected trucks just prior to the incident and an investigation is underway,” the company tweeted.
