LWC Drinks who are the UK’s largest independent drinks wholesaler – is expanding its London footprint with the opening of a new 116,000 sq ft depot in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Joining LWC Slough and the recently opened LWC Andover, Aylesbury will be the third depot in the family-owned wholesaler’s portfolio to service London and the Home Counties, following a period of significant growth and increased customer demand.

Scheduled to start trading in October, the opening of LWC Aylesbury marks another step forward in LWC’s mission to continually align its growth with its fundamental core value of always putting customer service first.

Housing a new state-of-the-art warehouse management system that will allow for improved inventory and order accuracy, the capabilities to offer same or next day delivery, and the support of a team of highly skilled WSET-qualified account managers – a superior customer service experience has been integrated across every facet of the new distribution site.

Ebrahim Mukadam, Managing Director for LWC Drinks commented: “I am delighted to be announcing plans to open a new depot in Aylesbury, and another significant step forward in LWC’s growth journey.

“London and the South East is a notoriously busy and demanding area, and an area in which we have had a footing for some time. However, as our customer base has grown, it is imperative that we uphold our commitment to service levels and maintain the same high standard of service our customers and partners have come to expect. This means investing in our local infrastructure and facilities, as we grow, to futureproof and protect our service level for years to come.

“We would never want our business successes to risk compromising our service – the foundation of our business – which is why we will always reinvest where we can, to safeguard this.

“I’m really looking forward to welcoming new customers and colleagues to the site when we open our doors in October.”

The announcement of the new depot in Aylesbury comes just eight weeks after the opening of a new 105,000 sq ft site in Andover, and just four months after the opening of a new site in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

LWC Aylesbury, Andover and Slough combined will now cover London, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire, and Hampshire.
