Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose said the Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol got enough signatures to get a ballot question on adult-use cannabis placed on the ballot in November for state voters to consider, according to reports. Proponents collected 127,772 signatures, ahead of the required 124,046 signatures, according to Cincinnati.com. Twenty-three states currently allow adult-use cannabis, with efforts currently in the works in Florida, Pennsylvania and other states. The AdvisorShares Pure U.S. Cannabis ETF was up 1.2% in recent trades. Separately on Wednesday, Germany’s cabinet OK’d a measure to allow adult-use cannabis sales of up to 50 grams of cannabis per month per person. The law now goes before the German parliament.
