Police in the Ukrainian capital have received “bomb threats” that “all secondary schools” will be blown up on Friday.
It is believed that Russia has issued the threat that the schools are at risk of being bombed in possible air strikes as schoolchildren start their new academic year on Friday.

Schoolchildren in Kryvyi Rih started their day in a bomb shelter as an “air raid alert was announced in the city” on Friday morning, which is the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Kyiv’s military administration shared on Telegram, “The Kyiv police received information about a bomb threat at all secondary schools in Kyiv.”

They added they are asking the public to remain calm despite the threat to schoolchildren and the schools.
Kyiv’s administration said, “The decision to evacuate children and teachers from the premises will be taken additionally by the administration of the educational institutions and the police.”
