Ukraine are conducting operations in and around the Black Sea as well as many other parts within battlefields and are testing AI drones.

The Ukrainian Digital Minister has played a huge role and ramped up drone production by 100-fold so far this year which will continue and rise 140-fold the end of 2023.

They are testing AI systems which are able to locate targets several miles then guide the drones to eliminate their targets.

Federov said on Saturday, “There will be more drones, more attacks, and fewer Russian ships. That’s for sure.

“At the moment it’s all at the testing stage, but some drones we are buying use AI to recognise targets.

“In a forest, it can detect a target and recognise whether it’s a person, tank, or a certain vehicle. These technologies are being used actively.”

Several attacks have struck Russia’s Black Sea fleet using missiles and sea drones around the Crimean peninsula on Saturday.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have also been using experimental marine drones called Morsky Maliuk (Marine kid) and hit the Russian Samum missile ship which caused “significant damage.”

A SBU source told Interfax-Ukraine, “Yesterday, the SBU marine drone arranged a ‘bavovna’ [attack] to the Samum rocket ship near the entrance to the Sevastopol Bay.

“Marinekid hit the rear right side of the ruscist vessel, causing significant damage, the ship lost its course.”

The source added, “For this attack, the SBU used an experimental sample of a marine drone capable of operating in a storm, hiding from detection behind high waves.

“During the special operation, the height of the waves reached 1.5 – 2 m.”
