The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) dropped an explosive drone on the power substation in the village of Snagost in Russia’s Kursk region.

Following the explosion seven Russian settlements were left blacked out, which comes as Ukrainian special “operations have entered a new level.”

source from inside the Ukrainian special service told Interfax-Ukraine,”AThe blackout in Russia’s Kursk region was organized by the SBU.

“It was the special service’s drone that dropped an explosive on the power substation in the village of Snagost, Kursk region. As a result, seven settlements were left blacked out.”

The source added that “such a ‘bavovna’ [attack] shows the fact that the SBU’s special operations have entered a new level.

“Russia should understand that if it is going to continue attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, then it will receive a tough response. Our resources allow us to do this.”

The head of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov said that the drone attacks inside Russia are aimed to destroy Putin’s enterprises which help to manufacture weapons.

In a comment to NV, Budanov said around a third of the relevant enterprises are located in the European part of Russia which “are accessible to unknown drones.”

The head of the Main Intelligence Agency said that the recent attacks on the Kremni-El plant in Bryansk, where electronics for Russian missiles.

Also the Redikinsky experimental plant in Tver region, where rocket fuel components are produced was also attacked.

Budanov added, “When we work out certain actions on the objects of the military-industrial complex of Russia, we set only one goal: to slow down the production of Russian weapons.”
