Russia’s attempts to accuse Ukraine of involvement in the events at the Makhaxhkala airport, Dagestan, which saw an angry Jew hating mob breaking into the airport building shows how deep rooted anti-Semitism is within the Russian elite.

This comes after the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “It is well known and obvious that yesterday’s events around Makhachkala airport are largely the result of outside interference, including information influence.”

On Monday Russia accused Ukraine of playing a “key role” in the civil unrest at the airport in Dagestan.

A video showed clearly the “blood thirsty” Russian elite “mob intent on killing Jews” searching for “refugees from Israel” after the flight landed from Tel Aviv.

The spokesperson of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleh Nikolenko said, “Threats to crack down on Jews are a consequence of the work of Russian state propaganda, which for decades cultivated a feeling of hatred among Russians towards other peoples.

“Let’s remember that not so long ago, President Putin and Foreign Minister Lavrov made offensive anti-Semitic statements.”

He said that the events in Makhachkala clearly reflects the deeply rooted anti-Semitism of Russian elites and society in the country.

Nikolenko added, “The accusations of the Russian Foreign Ministry against Ukraine of involvement in the events in Dagestan are an attempt to shift responsibility from a sick head to a healthy one.

“We are deeply convinced that the international community must respond decisively to manifestations of racial hatred in Russia and anywhere in the world.”

Hundreds stormed the Makhachkala airport in the Russian Republic of Dagestan on Sunday after flight WZ4728 from Tel Aviv arrived.

Protestors holding placards saying, “child killers” and carrying Palestinian flags broke through security doors and checked cars leaving the Makhachkala airport for Israelis.

An angry anti-Semitic hate mob stormed an airport demanding to see passenger’s passports to prove that they are not Jews as a flight arrived from Israel.
