Following EYE’s exclusive yesterday, revealing that Davis Tate have closed five branches, the company has now announced a restructure of the business to adapt to the everchanging property market.

Six months after Southern Homemove completed the purchase of Davis Tate from LSL in a deal that also saw the group acquire branches run by Goodfellows, Hawes & Co, Lauristons, plans for super hubs have been revealed.

The Tate Davis business has merged closed five offices across the 11-office network, and merge them into prominent town centre locations, which, we are told, will allow agency to offer the same coverage across the region.

The advantage of this move is the doubling of teams in “super hub” town centre office locations, which will allow the business to continue to deliver outstanding customer service to customers looking to sell, let, buy or rent, according to Joint managing directors of Davis Tate, James Elliott and Matthew Bates.

Elliott and Bates, who have worked for Davis Tate for 20 and 18 years respectively, said: “As Joint MDs and part of a new franchise of Davis Tate, our vision is to focus our estate agency services in super hubs where we can continue to deliver the best customer outcomes.

“How people search for homes is changing and we will continue to offer a blend of high street and digital presence. We will continue to invest in our online offering over the coming months allowing us to promote our customers’ properties across a wider reach and concentrate on further investment and growth of our six larger hub branches.”
