Ukrainian forces have said that they have a “main task” to do this winter and in a warning to Moscow they will attempt to disrupt Russia’s logistics so their troops “are hungry, cold and have no desire to fight.”
Ukrainian forces are ensuring that everything possible is being done on the ground to ensure the Russians have a very unfortunate long winter ahead as temperatures can typically fall below -20C.
Spokesperson for the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Volodymyr Fitio said, “Our main task is to ensure that everything happening now helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, vice versa, harms Russian occupiers.”

Fitio warned there will be efforts to ensure weapons, food, water, medical supplies and all other needed equipment is disrupted this winter to ensure Russian morale breaks.
He further warned that artillery, trench shelters and infantry units will be taken out and then said that they troops will face a “surprise” from the sky.
Spokesperson for the Ground Forces Command of the AFU added, “Thus, the enemy should expect surprises from the sky.”
The AFU have also received another batch of more than 2,000 Ukrainian-made drones, which will be used in the “hottest sectors of the front.”
Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said, “We transferred 2,000 Ukrainian drones from the government to the logistics forces.
“The General Staff will distribute and transfer the drones to the military to the hottest sectors of the front.”
Fedorov said on Saturday, “the batch included ‘birds’ exclusively of Ukrainian production.
“Among them are copters and aircraft-type UAVs: reconnaissance, kamikaze, reusable bombers.
“The drones will help hit enemy positions and equipment. All UAVs were purchased as part of the government program.”
He added, “We continue to systematically transfer drones to the Defense Forces, because it is the ‘birds’ that inflict colossal losses on the enemy.
