Estate agent Sean Newman has announced that he is changing his brand from ‘Newman Property Experts’ to ‘The Property Experts’.

Newman says he has ambitious plans to build a network of over 2,500 self-employed estate agents within five years, and has opted for the rebrand after listening to feedback from agents and a comprehensive evaluation of the company’s mission, values and customers’ needs.

Newman commented: “Our goal is to provide the best self-employed estate agency model in the UK. It’s not just the visual identity that has changed, we have also improved our proposition for Agents who can now earn up to 80% of the fee.”

According to Newman, the branding is more “personal”, making agents “the hero” with their name and photo, front and centre of all marketing material so they are seen as “the go-to property expert in their area”.

We are told that the focus is to build a national brand of “like-minded professionals who want to improve the public’s perception of estate agents and improve standards in the industry.

Additionally, a new e-learning platform is being launched by the company to provide hundreds of training videos, so agents can learn anytime, anywhere.

Newman says he and his team have created “a success blueprint which is a step-by-step guide for agents to follow to ensure they are successful and achieve outstanding results for clients.

When new agents join, they will have a weeklong induction, followed by ongoing support and training program. A newly appointment ‘Success Coach’ will provide ongoing coaching and accountability to help agents achieve their production goals.

The Property Experts marketing team has spent the past few months creating new marketing collateral and digital assets to assist agents in generating business. They have also created a ‘prestige’ version of the brand for agents who wish to deal with more expensive properties. A social media and digital marketing team has also been set up to help, support and train agents to get the most out of these platforms.

The new website will be launched in February and will feature a separate microsite for each agent.

Newman added: “I am very excited about the new branding. This model is designed to attract the best in the industry who want to be build their business and build their personal brand. This is perfect for agents who want to deliver a first-class customer experience and achieve outstanding results for their clients. We will be investing heavily in the new brand so it becomes nationally recognised and so we can provide the best tools, training and support for the agents.”

The new branding is being unveiled at the quarterly team ‘success summit’ later today where all agents will be given branded promotional material and merchandise.
