We Are Unchained, founded by Simon Leadbetter, has announced the launch of its 2025 Voice of the Agent survey, an annual study now in its third year offering a detailed analysis of the UK real estate market.

Created for the industry to capture the insights of estate and lettings agents, this year’s survey will be rolled out in four distinct phases, each focusing on critical aspects of the industry.

The survey will be released across four segments in 2025, meaning participants can expect the study to take just 15 minutes to complete:

+ Part One (January): This section analyses Sales, Lettings, and Marketing, evaluating business performance, pricing trends, and effective marketing channels in the current climate.

+ Part Two (April): This chapter investigates Portals, Proptech, AI, and Sustainability, emphasising the growing importance of technology and environmental trends in real estate.

+ Part Three (July): Focusing on Economics, Politics, and Housing, this phase provides a thorough review of the Labour government’s first year in office and the effects of their housing policies.

+ Part Four (October): Wrapping up with Consumers and Conveyancing, this final section offers an early look into 2026, delivering a downloadable report packed with actionable insights for agents looking to stay ahead.

This year’s survey is expected to draw contributions from over 1,000 estate agents and 2,000 consumers, continuing its legacy as a trusted source of industry benchmarks. Agents who participate will gain access to exclusive data on market performance, marketing tactics, and the evolving landscape of proptech.

By contributing, agents receive a free copy of the final report and unlock exclusive consumer research from renowned data providers like Opinium, Ipsos Mori, and YouGov. Additionally, all responses are fully anonymous, ensuring participants’ privacy and allowing candid feedback on industry trends and challenges.
