Alto is now integrated with Movemnt, giving agents signed up to the software free access to the home transaction platform and an opportunity to earn extra income.

The integration of the two brands, both part of Houseful, aims to boost the number of agents using the Movemnt network.

Alto agents can access Movemnt via the ‘Contact Record’ tab in Alto, and once they click the ‘Refer a Solicitor’ button they will be taken to Movemnt’s functionality where they can choose one or more conveyancers to refer from the list of 30 leading conveyancers currently available on Alto.

The referral passes on key information such as tenure, lender and property value to the conveyancer, enabling them to have a conversation with the relevant consumer (a vendor or buyer). Agents also have the opportunity to earn £200 per every successful referral, and following agent feedback, they will have the option to tailor this amount in the near future.

Agents who utilise the integration will also have access to automated milestones, which will feed through in real-time from the conveyancers’ software to Alto, reducing the need for additional stakeholder communication outside of Alto.

Additional changes to the integration in the coming months include the ability for an agent to instruct a conveyancer on behalf of their client.

Houseful’s COO of software, Ric Dawson, said: “One of Movemnt’s key differentiators is that it’s part of Houseful, which encompasses leading brands including Zoopla and Alto. This has enabled us to expand the network at scale and give key stakeholders in the property transaction like estate agents the opportunity to use it free of charge.”
