The stock last notched five positive trading sessions in a row during the stretch that ended July 8, 2022, according to Dow Jones Market Data. Apple shares are also on track to log their ninth session of gains in the past 10 sessions. Despite the strong finish to August, with shares up 7.1% over the most recent five trading days, the stock is still on pace to record a monthly decline for August, down 3.9% on the month. That would snap the stock’s longest monthly winning streak in nine years.
