A £14.7million bid has been launched by Arsenal for Galatasaray right-back Boey, according to reports in Turkey.
With Takehiro Tomiyasu injured until later in the year, the position could become an area the Gunners look at for a bargain addition to bolster their squad – yet Boey is said to be valued at £21m.
Turkish outlet Aksam wrote earlier in the year that Arsenal were rivalling Aston Villa and Brighton for the 22-year-old Frenchman, who has recently changed agents to heighten speculation over his future.

Arsenal have been handed a boost in the chase for Montpellier striker Elye Wahi.
The French club’s president, Laurent Nicollin, has opened the door to selling the 20-year-old with Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle also said to be keen amid talk of a £50m valuation.
“Elye has a price tag,” said Nicollin. “If he finds an offer that suits him and us, he will leave. In the event of Elye’s departure, our priority is to recruit a centre forward and then we will see if we need to complete the squad.”
