Giving the likes of Sephora a run for its money, Boots has been not-so-quietly establishing itself as one of the foremost beauty destinations on the high street.

The beauty and health chain is constantly adding new labels to its ever-expanding collection as well as becoming a launch pad for cult international brands dropping on UK soil. This is all while carving out its own territory with its in-house offering, from No7 to Liz Earle, Sleek to Soap & Glory.

This year, for the entire month of November, Boots is treating shoppers to a whopping month-long discount extravaganza, taking the idea of the Black Friday day or weekend and running with it for over 30 days of purse-friendly prices on big-name brands like Oral-B, YSL, Dyson, Shark and Tom Ford.

Bargain hunters know that this is the best possible time to get your hands on the latest and greatest products at a fraction of the cost. There are over 22,000 prices dropped, bargains across beauty, fragrance and electricals and more than half price off brands of major labels like Gucci, Too Faced and more. Look also for the Star Gift event that makes it easier than ever to get a kick start on your holiday shopping and get your hands on affordable bundles that will delight come Christmas morning.

Spearheaded by Boots, the beauty and health sector has been rivalling the discounts that you’ll find across tech in recent years.

Black Friday is known for its reductions across laptops, TVs, gaming and tech but the fashion, beauty and jewellery deals are taking over. Here are just a few of the brands you can expect to shop at a fraction of the RRP at Boots (deep breath now): YSL, CeraVe, Waterpik, Philips Lumea, Dior, Sol de Janeiro, Bobbi Brown, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Estee Lauder, Cloud Nine, MAC, Prada, Fitbit, Elemis and many, many more.

Why ES Best can be trusted

We’ve been continually charting Boots’ transformation from pharmacy to beauty haven so consider ourselves best placed to sift through the thousands of deals on offer. We have tested, trialled and put all the following products through their paces so if they’re included below, you can be sure that they have the ES Best seal of approval.

When is Black Friday 2024?

Black Friday is the first and typically biggest day of the event and is taking place on November 29, 2024.

When does Black Friday end?

After the first day on Friday, the deals continue into the weekend and through to Cyber Monday. This marks the last day of the discounts and is on December 2.

Why is it called Black Friday?

Black Friday takes place the day after Thanksgiving in the US, which is always on the third Thursday of the month of November. It was known to be a chaotic day, only becoming more so over the years as it marked the start of the Christmas shopping season. The US import started gaining traction on this side of the Atlantic back in 2010 and has grown from strength to strength ever since. Nowadays, few brands that don’t get involved in the sales action.
