On Friday Ukrainian forces fired the British made “Storm Shadow” cruise missiles which blew up Russia’s Black Sea Navy headquarters in Sevastopol, Crimea causing “major damage.”

The “Black Sea Fleet HQ in Sevastopol is supposed to be the most protected building in Crimea” which will be an embarrassment for Kremlin officials.

In the port of Sevastopol explosions were heard and smoke was seen billowing out of an enormous hole at the Russian Navy command post.

Ukraine’s intelligence agency the SBU said on Saturday that senior Russian navy commanders were killed or wounded in the cruise missile strike.

Kyiv’s intelligence chief Krylo Budanov claimed the missile strike killed “at least nine people” including generals, he told Voice of America.

The Ukrainian army said, “The details of the attack will be revealed as soon as possible and the result is dozens of dead and wounded occupants, including senior fleet commanders.”

The Ukrainian Air Force told Sky News that “Storm Shadow” cruise missiles were used to attack Vladimir Putin’s Black Sea Fleet HQ on Friday.

According to Russian officials one missile hit the intended target and five others were intercepted and shot down.

Ukraine sent an ominous threat to Moscow in May that they will liberate Crimea in any way that they “deem necessary” and warn they will not “ask anyone for permission,” and true to their word there has been a series of attacks which has gathered pace the past two weeks.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said Crimea is a “our land” and warned Russians if they have “a little bit of intelligence” then they need “to get out” immediately.
