BMW is charting fresh waters — literally — with a self-inflating electric stand-up paddle board (SUP) that pairs high–performance battery power with with premium materials, digital connectivity and a whole ecosystem of accessories.

Developed in collaboration with Slovenian manufacturer SipaBoards, the new BMW x SipaBoards electric SUP features self-inflating technology that makes unpacking the eSUP and getting it into the water a breeze.

By combining that self-contained convenience with the BMW x SipaBoards’s 300 W electric drive technology. That’s more than enough power to help scoot you across the water with a propeller developed specifically for BMW and cruising speeds of up to 7.5 km/h (4 knots), the new electric SUP is opening up a new chapter in riding pleasure in the process.

The BMW x SipaBoards ships with a pair of 90 Wh modular batteries good for more than 3 hours of continuous, water-based fun. A pair of 180 Wh batteries coming as options in spring 2026 (that’s the new news today, by the way), that more than double the fun to 7 hours.

Additionally, the BMW x SipaBoards features an innovative new mounting system that allows accessories to be attached quickly to a large number of points with an easy click & connect. BMW’s ecosystem of accessories includes speakers, drinks bottles, waterproof bags, and coolers – including a Lifestyle Accessory Capsule, which comes with selected accessories such as an Insta360 X5 camera that allows users to take incredible (and, no-doubt, Insta-friendly) pictures during every ride.

The 90 Wh version of BMW x SipaBoards is available now from the BMW Lifestyle online store and at selected SipaBoards retailers with a starting price of €3,990.
