Flexible workspace provider The Boutique Workplace Company has signed a management agreement to take 10,300 sq ft of space at Unite Students’ Aldgate site in the City of London, Property Week can reveal.
The workspace, combining private offices, breakout spaces and meeting rooms will be housed on the lower four floors of the 24-storey tower, which includes 920 purpose-built homes for students.
Amenities at the site, which charges £570 per desk, will include phone booths, showers, bike racks, lockers, and the workplace will have separate entrances.
Financial details of what is a first such deal with Unite were not disclosed, but a spokeswoman for The Boutique Workplace said discussions were underway with the student accommodation provider regarding other sites.

The firm has opened 40 sites across the UK, including four this year across 50,000 sq ft. They include 24 Lime Street and 32 Threadneedle Street in the City of London, and 9 George Square in Glasgow.
