17-year-old boy is fighting for life after being shot in the head in north London, the latest act of youth violence to blight the capital over the Easter school holiday.
Police were called to reports a male had been wounded on an industrial estate in Norman Road, Tottenham at about 4.20am on Thursday.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found the teenager suffering gunshot injuries.
He has been taken to hospital for treatment where he remains in a critical condition.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “His next of kin has been informed. A crime scene remains in place.”
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
It comes after Chima Osuji, 17, was stabbed to death outside his old primary school in Longshaw Road, Chingford, at 9.20pm on Easter Monday. He is the first male teenage Londoner to be killed in 2023.

British Transport Police officers were called to reports of a double knifing on an Elizabeth line platform shortly after 7pm.
A police spokesperson has since confirmed that the pair remain in hospital in a serious condition. They are both stable, though one has injuries which may be life changing.
There have been no arrests but the offenders were described as two white men.
One was wearing red jogging bottoms. The other a black hooded jacket and dark jogging bottoms.
Tiffany Regis, 15, died in a blaze, which is being treated as arson, at a block of flats in Tollgate Road, Beckton on Thursday.
A boy, 16, arrested on suspicion of her murder was bailed.
