The US President Jo Biden is facing calls to drop out of the presidential race after he called the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”
Biden’s gaffes did not stop there as he called Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump.”
The Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said that Biden is not senile and is on “good form” at the NATO summit in Washington and that he has been “across all the detail.”
After Biden introduced President Zelensky as “Putin” is immediately corrected himself and said, “President Putin? He’s going to beat President Putin. President Zelensky.
“I’m so focused on beating Putin, we’ve got to worry about it.”
The Prime Minister said that Biden has been on “really good form” at the summit as “We were billed for 45 minutes, we went on for the best part of an hour.
“He was absolutely across all the detail. We were going at pace through a number of issues.”
Sir Keir was asked if President Biden is senile, he told the BBC, “No… he’s shown incredible leadership.
“If there’s one thing that came out of the council session yesterday it was a clear understanding by everybody here that we’re faced with more threats now than we’ve faced for many years, and that we need the resolve of Nato.
“President Biden has led through some of the most challenging issues, actually, that we’re facing globally.”
