EV charging solutions provider Chargetronix has unveiled a new state-of-the-art distribution system alongside its third-generation chargers. The 1,280 kW system can charge up to 16 electric trucks from each cabinet, and Chargetronix’s next-generation chargers will serve both fleet and passenger EVs.

Chargetronix is an EV charging specialist centered in the US and focused on local manufacturing. Over the past three years, the company has delivered over 3,000 DC fast chargers to customers to help realize a sustainable future through state-of-the-art EV infrastructure.

Chargetronix’s previous lineup consisted of Phoenix bidirectional EV chargers, Flux AC chargers, and Apex DC fast chargers. Today, however, those fleet and passenger EV charging options have grown by two as Chargetronix has introduced a new distribution system and third-generation Apex SXE DC fast chargers, as seen below.

The Nexus system can be equipped with up to 16 charging outputs and is being hailed by Chargetronix as “the fastest charger on the market. ” It enables Class 6 to 8 vehicles to reach an 80% charge in as quickly as 30 minutes. Per Chargetronix CEO,  Xavier Landavazo:

The transition to electrified fleets is inevitable, with more than 15,000 electric trucks added to the U.S. in 2024 alone. Ensuring that the infrastructure to support fleets during this transition and onward will be critical to addressing bottom lines and minimizing downtime. Our latest product suites are paving the way for the deployment that meets the highest standards of performance, compliance, and reliability.

Joining the Nexus system in the charger lineup is the company’s third-generation DC fast charger, capable of rates up to 240 kW. These new charger piles feature a 50% larger ADA-compliant screen, high efficiency, intelligent power distribution between multiple charging connectors, and advanced safety features, including flood and smoke detection.

According to Chargetronix, its next-gen DCFCs can charge light and medium-duty vehicles in as little as 20 minutes or heavy-duty EVs in one hour. The company shared plans to showcase these new pieces of EV charging technology at the 2025 ACT Expo, which will take place from April 28 to May 1 in Anaheim, California.
