A Russian MP has hit out at Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin and want Vladimir Putin to put a “bullet to the forehead” of Yevgeny Prigozhin for his mutiny on Saturday.

The Russian Duma [Parliament] member said that Prigozhin has committed “treason” in his “freedom march” which saw thousands of Wagner mercenaries head towards Russia over a bitter feud between the Wagner chief and the Russian Defence Minster Sergei Shoigu.

Speaking on state-run Russia-1 channel, Andrey Gurulyov, a Duma representative for the conservative United Russia party, said that Prigozhin must be “destroyed.”

Gurulyov said, “I am firmly convinced that during wartime, traitors have to be destroyed!

“Today, no matter who says what, whatever fairy tales they are telling, a bullet to the forehead is the sole salvation for Prigozhin and [Dmitry] Utkin.”

The MP added on the state-run channel, that “treason can never be forgiven.”

A former CIA director, General David Petraeus has warned the Wagner chief to “be very careful around open windows.”

General Petraeus made reference to the large number of prominent Russians who have died in suspicious circumstances, which includes oligarchs flying out of windows the past year who have spoken against Putin.

General Petraus told CNN, “Prigozhin kept his life, but lost his Wagner Group.

“And he should be very careful around open windows in his new surroundings in Belarus, where he’s going.”
