Real assets adviser Cluttons has appointed Andrew Rutter as partner and head of Newcastle as it looks to strengthen its presence in the commercial sector.

Rutter brings more than 15 years of experience across valuation, estates management, public sector advisory and large-scale development projects.
He joins from Method Valuation UK and previously held senior roles at Capita Business Services and Durham University.
He served as national lead at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation within the Ministry of Defence and as director of valuation at Lambert Smith Hampton.
In his new role, he will lead the valuation service line for Cluttons’ Newcastle office.
