LSL announces new non-executive appointment

Michael Stoop

LSL Property Services has announced the appointment of Michael Stoop to the board of LSL as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Stoop brings to LSL significant experience in estate agency and franchising which he has gained from his roles at Winkworth, Legal & General, and Belvoir Group plc.

He is  currently an industry board member of The Property Ombudsman, where he also chairs the finance and performance committee. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents.

Adrian Collins, chairman of LSL, commented: “Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success in the estate agency franchise market. His deep understanding of latest market trends, and keen eye for identifying lucrative opportunities, will prove invaluable as we implement our exciting plans for growth in this sector.”

 

Simon Whale joins Made Snappy 360’s board of directors

Made Snappy 360 has announced the appointment of Simon Whale to its board of directors. He brings a wealth of industry expertise and leadership to the position, enhancing the company’s strategic vision and operational capabilities, particularly within the lettings sector.

Whale is widely recognised for his influential role in the PropTech landscape. As the founder of Kerfuffle, a prominent PropTech supplier marketplace, he has empowered countless estate and letting agents by connecting them with the best technology solutions.

Additionally, Whale serves on the boards of Prospector Pro and Agents Giving, further solidifying his reputation as a pivotal figure in the industry.

Whale said: “I am excited to join the Made Snappy board, leveraging my experience to drive innovation and foster growth. Together, we aim to deliver unparalleled value and service to our clients.”

 

United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty appoints new director

Hamish Batchen

United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty has announced the addition of Hamish Batchen to its senior team. This appointment marks a significant strengthening of its expertise within the new-build prime and super prime residential property markets in London.

Batchen joins as director, having already gained 15 years of extensive experience, with more than five years specialising in the luxury real estate sector. An expert in branded residences, he has worked with some of the most reputable names in the business, including Four Seasons and Six Senses.

Before joining United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty, Batchen held a senior role at Savills, where he managed global sales for a leading branded residence developer and oversaw over £200m in sales in 18 months.

Claire Reynolds, managing partner at United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty, expressed her enthusiasm for the new hire, commenting: “His wealth of experience, dedication, and client-focused approach align perfectly with our commitment to delivering outstanding service and results.”
