Propertymark has seen huge evolution across the last few months and the future holds a further raft of exciting projects and industry innovation. Iamproperty appoints new director of people

Vicky Judson

Iamproperty has welcomed Vicky Judson as its new director of people.

The North East based company says that Judson has a good track record of developing and implementing successful people-centric strategies.

During a varied career in human resources, most recently Judson was UK & Ireland HR Director for Draeger. Prior to this, she was head of HR at DB Regio Tyne and Wear which operates the Metro.

Judson’s new role as director of people at iamproperty will see her lead the businesses’ people strategy, which supports over 600 employees based across the UK.

She said: “The rate of growth [at iamproperty] has been phenomenal in the last few years and there’s so much more to come, especially with the development of the ecosystem. It is an amazing time to join such a successful, thriving and growing business.

“One of the main things that attracted me to iamproperty was the culture and the focus on the people, and since joining that’s really apparent. I’ve always believed the happier people are, the better they perform at work and for me that’s about having well designed jobs that allow room for growth, the opportunity for development and having the right tools to succeed.”

Ben Ridgway, co-founder of iamproperty, commented: “She [Judson] brings an invaluable raft of experience in Human Resources which will drive our five-year people strategy and support us as we continue to grow.”

Heaton & Partners expands rural and estate management arm

Pete Williams

Independent buying agent Heaton & Partners has appointed Pete Williams to its expanding property and estate management arm, with a focus on rural estates and farming.

Williams was in the British Army for 11 years, leaving as a Major in 2018. Keen to return to the countryside after growing up in Warwickshire on a family farm, Pete turned to estate management. For the past six years, Pete has managed a diverse and fast paced portfolio of estates totalling 4,000 acres.

At Heaton & Partners, which operates in London and throughout the south of England, Williams will initially be working on an estate in Oxfordshire that the firm acquired for a client last year, as well as supporting the management of other rural and city properties that the firm looks after.

Edward Heaton, founder and managing partner of Heaton & Partners, said: “After a career in the British Army, Pete retrained and for the last six years has held a position as estate manager on a significant estate. He has a wealth of experience which will add yet more value to our estate and property management offering. I’m pleased to welcome him to the team, where he joins our expanding property management arm.”

Williams added: “There is currently a great deal of change happening for landowners, with a shift away from basic payment schemes to one which better incentivises sustainable land management. I am looking forward to working with clients to advise on how they can best align their practices with these exciting developments.”
