Oliver Goodfellow, a highly accomplished estate agent with over 27 years of experience in the property industry, has joined the Moveli network.

Goodfellow has built a strong foundation in residential sales from his early career at Austin and Wyatt’s Ringwood office.

His journey has seen him rise to director of sales at prestigious London agencies, where he played a pivotal role in the sale of high-end properties in some of London’s most sought-after locations, such as Regents Park, Marylebone and Mayfair.

Savills appoints Oliver Forster as head of Birmingham Investment

Savills has appointed Oliver Forster as a director and head of Birmingham Investment, based at the firm’s Colmore Row office.

Forster will focus on the Midlands investment market and brings a wealth of experience, having spent several years at CBRE, where he advised on numerous high-profile transactions.

Richard Merryweather, chair of UK Investment at Savills, said: “Oliver’s arrival marks a key milestone for our business, highlighting Birmingham’s vital role in our investment strategy.

“With extensive experience, Oliver brings a strong track record of success, particularly in challenging market conditions. This appointment coincides with a strong start to the year. We are seeing increasing conviction from buyers as robust rental growth projections are evidenced and stock levels are starting to increase, driven by greater proactivity from sellers.”

Mackrell.Solicitors announces new head of property

Mackrell.Solicitors has appointed Ben Gurluk as director and head of residential Property.

With 18 years of experience as a qualified solicitor, Ben brings a wealth of expertise in high-value residential property transactions, acting for high-net-worth individuals, developers, and investors both in the UK and internationally.

Ben’s appointment forms part of the firm’s strategic expansion of its property services, ensuring clients receive a bespoke and highly efficient service tailored to their individual needs.

Ben’s extensive career has seen him work across both commercial and private client law firms, advising on the acquisition and disposal of prime and super-prime residential properties.

Having practised in London’s high-end property market since 2010, he has handled transactions for some of the most prestigious addresses in the capital.

Prior to this, Ben worked along the south coast in Hampshire and Dorset, gaining in-depth knowledge of the New Forest and Sandbanks property markets.

Beyond his legal expertise, Ben has also taken on key compliance roles in previous firms, serving as COLP (Compliance Officer for Legal Practice) and MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer).

His experience in managing regulatory and AML requirements, including successfully navigating an SRA AML inspection, further strengthens Mackrell.Solicitors’ commitment to compliance and risk management.
