John D Wood & Co. announces Daniel Fisher as head of lettings

John D Wood & Co. has announced the appointment of Daniel Fisher as head of lettings.

Fisher, who brings with him two decades of experience in the London lettings market, will oversee the business’s lettings operations across its network of London and Country offices.

He joins from Chestertons, where he spent ten years and most recently held the position of regional director for the North and East London region. Prior to that, he served as lettings director.

Polly Ogden Duffy, MD at John D Wood & Co. commented: “Daniel’s depth of knowledge across the lettings industry, combined with his passion for developing high-performing teams and delivering a client-first approach, makes him the perfect person to lead our lettings business into its next chapter.”

Fisher added: “I look forward to building on the strong foundations already in place, while bringing a fresh, forward-thinking approach – embracing innovation and technology – to keep the business ahead of the curve. It’s an exciting opportunity to take the lettings business to new heights.”

 

New head for Savills Global Residential Development Consultancy

Louis Keighley has been appointed as Head of Savills Global Residential Development Consultancy.

Louis, who joined Savills in 2016, is a market expert in branded residences, specialising in providing strategic advisory services for residential, mixed-use and integrated resort developments globally.  Working with investors, developers and brands, Louis, along with his team, offer a range of professional services, from development consultancy and project feasibility, brand premium assessment and operational advisory to brand search and contract negotiation, and capital markets.

In the nine years Louis has been with the team, he has advised on numerous landmark projects such as W Manchester, NEOM in Saudi Arabia and The Ellinikon in Greece.

Regarded as one of the market leaders in the branded residences sector, Savills Global Residential Development Consultancy is based in London, servicing Europe and the Americas, with a satellite operation in Dubai to service both the Middle East and Asia Pacific markets.

Declan Selbo appointed head of North London Super Prime Sales by Knight Frank

Knight Frank has appointed Declan Selbo as head of North London Super Prime Sales, in addition to his role as head of sales in the firm’s St John’s Wood office.

He has spent over a decade with Knight Frank and since joining the St John’s Wood office as a negotiator, has risen through the ranks to become partner, then department head.

Selbo has been involved in many of the area’s most notable and high-value transactions and over the last year alone has been involved in landmark sales totalling over £250 million. Highlight deals include ultra-prime residences such as Radlett House (guided at £47.5 million), a nine-bedroom home on Avenue Road (guided at £35 million), and a property on Cornwall Terrace (guided at £25 million).

In his expanded role, Selbo will work closely with the Hampstead and Belsize Park teams, as well as with Stuart Bailey, head of London Super Prime Sales, Knight Frank’s Private Office, and the firm’s wider global network, to deliver a unified offering in the +£10 million space in NW London.

Selbo commented: “Of course I am honoured to have been identified by the partnership for this new role. However, more exciting is the genuine opportunity it presents both for the firm and our clients, in a region that I grew up in and am passionate about.”
