Stirling Ackroyd duo join Warren Powell-Richards

L-R: Marco Olival, Sebastien Lewis and Rhys King

Warren Powell-Richards (WPR), the five-branch estate agency operating across Surrey and Hampshire, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of two seasoned professionals from Stirling Ackroyd.

Estate agency veterans Marco Olival and Rhys King have both joined WPR in business development roles, bringing with them a wealth of experience.

Marco Olival, formerly head of sales and lettings at Stirling Ackroyd, has 18 years of industry experience, having held senior positions at Foxtons and the Leaders Romans Group. He steps into the role of director of business development at WPR, where he will lead the agency’s growth strategy and oversee the formation of a new business team.

Rhys King, who worked at Stirling Ackroyd for eight years in various roles – most recently as head of sales at the central office – joins WPR as business development manager. He will work closely alongside Olival to increase valuation opportunities and drive new client engagement across WPR’s five offices in Alton, Farnham, Godalming, Grayshott, and Haslemere.

Olival commented: “Rhys and I have a wealth of experience in building new business structures from the ground up, so we’re looking forward to creating new opportunities, improving customer support and boosting engagement.”

King added: “I’ve worked with Marco for many years and we both have a similar outlook when it comes to building estate agency brands, establishing processes and finding new opportunities. Whilst it’s great to continue working together I’m also ready for a new challenge, so I’m looking forward to supporting WPR as it enters a new chapter.”

Moveli expands presence in the Southwest with experienced broker Chris Heal

Chris Heal

Experienced Southwest based agent Chris Heal has joined Moveli.

With almost 20 years in the business, Heal is the latest in a line of experienced agents leaving their high street positions to join fast-growing agency brand. In fact, he is the fifth Devon-based agent in almost as many months to go self-employed with Moveli.

Moveli’s co-founder Ben Littlewood said: “Our upper-market brand offers exactly the kind of platform experienced agents are looking for when making the move to self-employment.

“While we remain selective about the quality of brokers who join our network, we’ve grown by more than 110% in the past 12 months.”

Mark Collins joins Echlin as non executive director

Mark Collins

The architectural design studio and residential developer, Echlin, which focuses on schemes in central London, has appointed Mark Collins to the board.

Collins brings over three decades of expertise in the UK residential property market, most notably from his tenure as chairman of residential at CBRE, where he played a pivotal role in advising developers, investors and landowners on many of the capital’s landmark residential schemes.

He brings a wealth of experience working across the Middle East and other international markets.

Collins said: “Echlin has a clear and compelling vision for the future of luxury and design-led living, blending exceptional architecture and interiors with a deep understanding of lifestyle and place-making. I’m delighted to be joining the team at such a pivotal moment in their evolution.”

Echlin’s co-founder, Mark O’Callaghan, added: “Mark’s exceptional experience, market insight, and industry reputation are incredibly valuable as we scale our vision for curated, design-first residential developments and private homes. His strategic counsel will help guide the company’s growth and deepen our relationships with investors and stakeholders across the sector.”
