Having held senior roles at Countrywide, Marsh & Parsons, Foxtons and most recently the head of client services at Rampton Baseley, Bennett brings over 15 years of experience and knowledge to the role.

Bennett will be responsible for leading and developing the company’s property services team, focusing on engaging with clients and generating new business for Campions’ estate agency brands.

He said: “Chestertons and Chase Buchanan are well-established brands and widely respected throughout the industry and I’m excited to be able to bring my wealth of experience here to continue their success and lead Campions’ Property Services department into an exciting new chapter.”

Amara Property appoints new sales & acquisitions director

Warren Leader

Amara Property has bolstered its inhouse team with the appointment of Warren Leader as sales & acquisitions director.

Leader joins the London and Home Counties housebuilder following a distinguished career spanning over 30 years.

He brings a wealth of experience and industry acumen to Amara Property through past senior positions at organisations such as Colliers, Stone Real Estate, London & Regional and JLL.

Heading up Amara Property’s sales division, Leader will lead on the residential sales programme.

Leader said: “Amara Property is a fantastic business with a growing presence in the construction and development sector. With an established reputation for quality and excellent track record for delivery, I’m very excited to join the team and bring my own experience to the fore.”

Rutu Buddhdev, MD at Amara Property, added: “Warren’s arrival adds his extensive knowledge and invaluable experience to the team, and after a record year for the business, I have every confidence he will be instrumental in making the coming years even greater, as we look to add to our development pipeline and deliver even more of our signature home collections.”

PEXA names new head of conveyancer relationships

Rob Hosier

PEXA, the digital property exchange platform, has announced the appointment of Rob Hosier as head of conveyancer relationships, following the launch of the full PEXA platform, including sale and purchase, to the UK market.

Hosier will oversee the management and growth of PEXA’s relationships with all conveyancers. He brings over 18 years of experience in the conveyancing sector.

He joins PEXA from inCase, where he was a director since December 2017. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at Convey Law as a director and before that was a conveyancer at Loosemores Solicitors. He has also recently been a director at the UK LegalTech Association, and for four years was a trustee at The Conveyancing Foundation.

Hosier commented: “I am truly passionate about reducing the stress and pressure conveyancers face. The job gets harder every year and I am joining PEXA with a shared belief that we can start to make it easier, safer and even more enjoyable to convey property.”

Joe Pepper, UK CEO at PEXA, added: ““Conveyancers are overworked, constantly at maximum capacity operating in a market of intense consumer demand. The fact is that the back-end infrastructure that supports them is not fit for purpose, and adds to their stress rather than helping them deliver the outcomes they want for their clients. As an ex-conveyancer, Rob has first-hand experience of these issues and to have him on board is testament to the fact that we’re addressing them in the right way for the UK market.”
