eXp UK has today announced one of its most notable hires to date, as Lee Cooke joins the business from Connells Group.
Cooke, who served the brand for over 22 years, was recognised in 2023 for his outstanding contribution to the business, winning the Stephen Shipperley Estate Agent of the Year Award.
He first joined the Connells as a branch manager from Your Move in late 2002, working at the Wolverhampton branch, before working his way up the ranks to senior local director.
In his time at Connells, Coke transformed the Wolverhampton branch, most recently as senior local director.
He joins eXp UK forming his own business under the wider eXp brands – Lee Cooke, powered by eXp
Cooke commented: “After a wonderful 22 years I have made the decision to leave Connells Estate Agents to pursue my future aspirations. I made a promise to my wife that I would leave the business if I reached five years cancer free and that time is now.
“I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve achieved but it’s time for a new chapter and one that better allows me to balance my work and personal life.
“I’m more than confident that eXp is the platform to allow me to do so, whilst also giving me the support and guidance needed to build my own brand, business and legacy within the UK estate agency sector.”
