The team behind the Best Estate Agent Guide will host an inaugural series of roadshows and are inviting top-performing estate agents across the UK to join them as they launch the Estate Agency Masterplan.

The EA Masters team are hitting the road next month to host invitation-only events in Edinburgh, Leeds, Northampton, Cardiff and Southampton.

Guests attending the event will access a series of short seminars presented by Property Academy, a presentation from principal partner OnTheMarket, as well the opportunity to discover how the EA Masterplan can make a difference to their business.

Following on from the data analysis by Twenty EA during which over 1.5 million data points were measured and assessed, the top 20% of agents in the UK will be featured in this year’s Best Estate Agent Guide. As part of the roadshows, the invited guests at each event will find out how they performed.

Peter Knight, founder of The Best Estate Agent Guide, explained: “Estate agency is unrecognisable from 10, five, even three years ago, and it’s still changing at an ever-faster pace.

“Agencies are under pressure like never before. Customers expect a 24/7 service, there is new competition opening every week with different business models, and they’re managing increased regulation and compliance requirements, all of which add cost. Not only that but reduced transaction numbers, increased wage demands, and spiralling costs mean this might just be the most testing period estate agency owners have ever faced.

“To compete, grow and make a decent profit, you need to ensure your business plan is right for this market because the old ways aren’t delivering enough; they don’t work as well. It’s like going on a car journey today with only a map from the 1970s to guide you – agents need a new business plan, they need the Estate Agency Masterplan – and we’re delivering just that at the roadshows.

“Estate agents attending the regional events next month will be able to create their own Masterplan and personalise it for their business, using their choice of business model, and market.

“The EA Masterplan will help guide agencies through this turbulent period, so they emerge in a much better place, with their business protected and able to profitably grow.”

The dates and venues for the regional events are as follows:

Tuesday, 13 June – InterContinental The George, Edinburgh
Wednesday, 14 June – Aspire, Leeds
Thursday, 15 June – Silverstone Circuit, Northampton
Wednesday, 21 June – Coldra Court Hotel, Celtic Manor, Cardiff
Thursday, 22 June – Hilton at the Aegeas Bowl, Southampton
