Elon Musk ordered his SpaceX engineers to shut off Ukrainian access to Starlink satellites to prevent Kyiv’s forces from mounting a surprise attack on Russian warships in Crimea.

In a new biography Musk told the author that he feared a Ukrainian strike on Crimea could amount to a “mini-Pearl Harbour” attack which could to Vladimir Putin launching a nuclear attack, Walter Isaacson wrote in a new biography.

President Volodymr Zelesnky’s top aide, Mykhailo Podolyak criticised the Tesla co-founder and accused Musk of effectively “committing evil” for the killing of children.

He added, “Sometimes a mistake is much more than just a mistake.

“By not allowing Ukrainian drones to destroy part of the Russian military fleet via Starlink interference, Elon Musk allowed this fleet to fire Kalibr missiles at Ukrainian cities.

“As a result, civilians, children are being killed. This is the price of a cocktail of ignorance and big ego.”

The billionaire took to X formerly known as Twitter wrote overnight, “ELON PREVENTS NUCLEAR WAR?

“The Starlink regions in question were not activated. SpaceX did not deactivate anything.”

However, the question still remains: why do some people so desperately want to defend war criminals and their desire to commit murder?

“And do they now realise that they are committing evil and encouraging evil?”

Musk then claimed that he did not order SpaceX engineers to cut off the satellites, but he did refuse Kyiv’s request to have it switched back on.

He said, “There was an emergency request from government authorities to activate Starlink all the way to Sevastopol.

“The obvious intent being to sink most of the Russian fleet at anchor. If I had agreed to their request, then SpaceX would be explicitly complicit in a major act of war and conflict escalation.”
